Daily challenges and tasks
Key knowledge and skills

1. Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of Publisher Hunters.
  • Set team objectives, monitor performance, and ensure KPI achievement.
  • Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching.

2. Publisher Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop and execute the strategy for cold publisher acquisition.
  • Identify new sourcing channels and outreach opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Improve outbound processes and continuously test new acquisition approaches.

3. Publisher Onboarding

  • Oversee the publisher journey from the first contact through successful launch.
  • Support the team during negotiations with prospective publishers.
  • Handle complex negotiations and escalations with key partners.
  • Ensure smooth handover of launched publishers to the Business Development/Account Management team for further growth.

4. Process Improvement

  • Optimize the outbound acquisition funnel.
  • Improve conversion rates across every stage: sourcing; outreach; responses; negotiations; launch.
  • Develop outreach templates and communication standards.
  • Introduce new sourcing tools and workflow automation.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor team performance and acquisition metrics.
  • Analyze funnel conversion rates and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track KPIs.
  • Prepare reports and propose initiatives to improve team efficiency.

AdTech & Publisher Acquisition

  • Strong understanding of the affiliate marketing / AdTech industry.
  • Experience sourcing and acquiring publisher partners.
  • Knowledge of Social, In-App, Direct Link, Push/Pop, and other traffic channels.
  • Understanding of CPI, CPA, CPL, CPC, and RevShare models.

Sales & Negotiation

  • Strong cold outreach and business development skills.
  • Experience creating personalized outbound campaigns.
  • Ability to qualify leads and identify high-potential partners.
  • Excellent negotiation and objection-handling skills.

Leadership

  • Experience managing and developing teams.
  • KPI management and performance tracking.
  • Hiring, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ability to build scalable acquisition processes.

Analytics & Tools

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and internal trackers.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
